I had a great time , yesterday , i managed a new personal best result in a intersite individual match ,I caught 2lb
It was a pleasure to meet so many new faces & old friends and share a laugh or two.a big thanks to Nigel for all the help he gave Me organising the match & the brilliant hospitality What a first class BBQ (worth sitting in one spot for 5 hours ,feeding the ducks for ).
A very well done to (genus 9:Md's) Alan West and to win using waggler brilliant.(48lb 8oz)

Intersite individual match

As i dabble a little with fishing matches ,I go for a laugh,mostly just ones organised by various forums.Its befallen me to organise one for the Intersite series .The Intersite series is a group of regional matches ,between a group of different matchfishing elements from the forum sites taking part.Usually in teams of ten with reserves ,sometimes though not all sides can field a full team so the others lend anglers to who ever needs them .In the spirit of co-operation & good sportsmanship.
It was my turn to organise a match .The Individual Match no less.I booked the usual venue at Barston ,solihull.
on the 6th of oct.(report to follow) Its beeen a learning curve for me .As i'm more used to just turning up at events.
getting everything sorted is a bigger job than most imagine (i'm more worried about letting people down,than owt else) but its going well (had a few hurdles to jump).
I'll report back next sunday oon how it all went.
